ESTEL presented an exciting hair collection at AURORA FASHION WEEK RUSSIA SS15, demonstrating key trends for 2015 in hair coloring, cutting, and styling.
The ESTEL collection reflects a contemporary woman’s universe, where romantic and fragile qualities are well-balanced with freedom and independence.
Andrey Pulin, ESTEL Creative Director:
"The Innocent Shakespearian Juliet was transported to the 21st century. Her traits, such as tenderness, an inclination to delusion, resolution, and courage, are expressed by classical and texturized haircuts. Juliet considers hair color as a means of defending her individuality. But even with ultra-fashionable shades, she is still very sensual since she realizes the power it gives to a woman, even one so young.”
Images from the ESTEL collection are highlighted with dresses by Stas Lopatkin. The renowned designer from St. Petersburg has created an exquisite clothes collection especially for this event.
ESTEL’s creative team was inspired by musings over the combination of classical and avant-garde fashion flows. The Juliet figure in the show is a dedication to the author of Romeo and Juliet, William Shakespeare. This year the world celebrates the 450th anniversary of the birth of that great playwright. The idea was born during work with the R&J hair show held in September within the 3rd International Hairstyling Creative and Business Festival ESTEL.FEST 2014.
Valeria Vetkina, ESTEL Academy Manager:
“The beauty of hair and its color comprise an important part of a fashionable look, and our Company is always glad to take part in fashion projects. Just like AURORA FASHION WEEK, our own event originates in St. Petersburg. This is a pleasant point in our partnership. The project was a useful experience for us and gave us a lot of ideas for future collections."
